Prior to starting REIB, Tore was the Founder and Managing Partner of Realkapital Partners, a real estate private equity firm based in Oslo, Norway. In this role, Tore initiated and executed the creation of multiple opportunistic pan-European real estate funds with an equity base of EUR 125 million. Tore also led the funds' investment activities, leading to the acquisition of real estate assets in five different countries across Europe and established a pan-European "synthetic REIT" using a Luxmebourg-based regulated SIF structure.

Before founding Realkapital Partners, Tore was the Director of Investment Management at Aberdeen Property Investors in Oslo, where he led the development of five Nordic property funds representing EUR 1.5 billion in invested capital. Tore also previously served as the CEO of Nordea Investment Management--managing EUR 5 billion in equity, bond and money market instruments--and the Head of Structured Products at Den norske Bank.

Tore holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a M.Sci. in Economics and Business from NHH. Tore is a Certified Portfolio Manager (Autorisert Porteføljeforvalter) from NFF/NHH.
